Dear Primary 3 parents and carers,
The Department of Education has indicated that parent teacher meetings should not be conducted in the normal face-to-face way this academic year. We are going to conduct parent interviews for each year group separately. We have already completed parent teacher interviews for Nursery, Primary 7 and Primary 1 pupils. We are soon going to be completing parent interviews for Primary 2 and Primary 3 pupils.
Parent/Teacher consultations for children in Primary 3 will be conducted via telephone or online via Microsoft Teams on the following dates: - Monday 23rd November, Tuesday 24th November, Wednesday 25th November and Friday 27th November 2020.
Parent /Teacher consultations for Primary 3 will take place on:
- Monday 23rd November from 1.15pm to 4.45pm
- Tuesday 24th November from 1.15pm to 4.45pm
- Wednesday 25th November from 2.15pm to 4.45pm
- No appointments available on Thursday 26th November
- Friday 27th November from 2.15pm to 4.15pm
The parent/teacher consultations are timetabled closely together so we would ask for your help to ensure that the timetable runs smoothly. In order that you may be allocated a suitable date and time for your meeting may I ask you to complete the online questionnaire by Wednesday 18th November 2020. Please indicate the days/times which are NOT convenient for you. We will then timetable you a day/time for your parent/teacher consultation.
Pupils in Primary 3 will go home at the normal time of 1.55pm each day when parent teacher interviews are taking place. Pupils in Primary 3 will also go home on Thursday 26th November at the earlier time of 1.55pm.
