Reminder: Interschool parent wellbeing sessions run by ParentingNI for Portstewart Primary School and St Colum's Primary!

Do you want to find out more information on how to best support your child's mental health and wellbeing, especially during the current climate? Come along to one of our parent wellbeing sessions in the comfort of your own home via Zoom.

The aims and objectives of the session are:

  • To help parents deal with family conflict in a positive way.
  • To explore what causes conflict.
  • To recognise reactions to conflict.
  • To equip parents with the skills on how to deal with conflict.

The aims and objectives of the session are:

  • To explore the importance of promoting children’s positive emotional health and wellbeing.
  • To raise awareness on the effects on children with positive emotional health and wellbeing.
  • To promote activities parents can use to enhance their children’s social and emotional learning.
  • To equip parents with the skills to improve their children’s emotional health and wellbeing.

The webinars will all be taken by ParentingNI and will focus on practical ways that you can help support your child. Details on how to join the Zoom online meetings will be sent directly to parents closer to the time.
