Invite to our online webinar for P5, P6 and P7 parents and carers on mental health and wellbeing

As part of our whole school focus on mental health and wellbeing we are excited to work alongside 'Action Mental Health' to bring our parents an online webinar with a question and answer session on Thursday 1st October at 7.30pm online via Zoom. This is a new venture for our school and we would be keen for as many parents as possible to take part.

We have set up a school based programme with Action Mention Health called 'Healthy Me' for all our pupils in P5, P6 and P7. Our senior pupils have all received training from Action Mental Health already. 'Healthy Me' programme positively promotes mental health and social and emotional wellbeing in children and has a strong focus on prevention and self-help.

Do you want to find out more information on how to best support your child's mental health and wellbeing, especially during the current climate? Come along on Thursday 1st October in the comfort of your own home via Zoom at 7.30pm.

Parents and carers of pupils in Primary 5, Primary 6 and Primary 7 from Portstewart Primary School are invited to attend an online webinar via Zoom on Thursday 1st October at 7.30pm. The webinar will be taken by our Action Mental Health school worker. Details on how to join the Zoom online meeting will be sent directly to parents later in the week. Please note that as you join the webinar your video and audio will be muted. At the end of the webinar there will be an opportunity to ask questions and you can choose whether you want to use your video or audio function at this stage.

To find out more information and to give us an indication of numbers please click on the link below and indicate if you are 'Going' or 'Interested' on the advertised Facebook event.
