EARLY CLOSING
To allow final preparations for “Supper with Santa” to take place an early closing for P4 – P7 children will operate on Friday 30th November when ALL pupils will be released at 2.00 p.m.
CHRISTMAS DINNER
Christmas dinner priced at £2.60 per child(£2.50 for Nursery children) will be served on Thursday 6th December. Please complete the reply slip and return to school by Thursday 29thNovember should you wish your child to receive Christmas dinner. If your child is in receipt of free school meals there is no need to complete the reply slip as the kitchen will assume that your child will be having dinner on that date.
HEADLICE
May we remind you of the importance of regular screening of your child’s hair to prevent the spread of headlice. Points to remember include:
- headlice are only transmitted by direct head-to-head contact
- transmission of lice within the classroom is relatively rare
- treatment should be applied only when live lice are found
- concerned parents should seek advice from the local pharmacist.
