Last year, through the charity, ‘Stand By Me’, we sponsored a 7 year old Ethiopian girl called Birtukan. During the course of the year letters and photographs were exchanged and we were kept informed of Birtukan’s progress in Bethany Bekoji School.
To continue our sponsorship of Birtukan our pupils are invited to contribute a minimum of £1.00 to participate in a non-uniform day to be held on Friday 22nd September. The money raised will help to purchase books, equipment and uniform for Birtukan. Contributions may be brought to school on or before Friday.
