To help prepare your child for the Grammar Schools’ Entrance Assessments which will take place in the autumn term, we are making available a pack of work which may be completed during the summer.
This work has been chosen for its relevance to the work which the children will meet on entering Primary 7 and, of course, builds on the work already covered in Primary 6.
In our experience we have found it to be beneficial for the children to maintain a certain level of work over the holiday period in order to keep skills and knowledge fresh in their minds for September. To this end we are offering a pack costing £12 which consists of 10 tests, a Parent’s Guide and an answer booklet to help you mark and correct your child’s work. We believe this pack offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful practice with the amount of work, and the pace at which it is completed, being determined by you. However, we advise a little work at regular intervals.
