Reminders of upcoming events

Election - School will be closed on Thursday 12th December as school will be used as a pollingstation for the general election.

Flu Vaccinations - Vaccinations for children in P1 – P7 will take place in school on Friday 13th December commencing at 9.15 a.m. If your child has had their Flu vaccination from their GP and does not need the flu vaccination, please contact school.

A Christmas Jumper/Movie Day will be held on Monday 16th December. Children are invited to dress up by wearing Christmas sweaters, hats, antlers, t-shirts etc. Please do not feel you have to buy a special item of Christmas clothing as children should be encouraged to wear clothes they already have or simply decorate a jumper or hair with tinsel, baubles etc. A donation of £1.00 for school funds in respect of the non-uniform day would be appreciated. The movie which will be shown will be Toy Story 4. Before the films our PTA members will man the tuck shop selling drinks and various sweets products from prices ranging between 50p to £1. We hope our “film and dress up day” will be enjoyable for all children.

Green Screen photos

On Christmas Jumper/Movie day pupils will also have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with a Christmas backdrop using our Green Screen, similar to what was on offer at Supper with Santa evening. If you would like your child(ren) to have their photograph taken please return the reply slip with a £1.00 suggested donation. The photograph would then be emailed to you directly.
