Road Safety Week and the Walking Bus on Thursday 25th November
Next week in school we will be focusing on Road Safety in school. To coincide with Road Safety Week we are delighted to announce the commencement of our first walking bus which will take place on Thursday 25th November, as we aim to reduce the number of cars around the school entrance in the mornings, as well as starting the day with a walk in the fresh air! Our meeting point is Convention carpark, and we will be leaving to walk up to school at 8:40am (Please do not drop off at the Convention Carpark before 8:30am). Parents are encouraged to park at the Convention carpark and join the walking bus for the walk up to the school with their children.
Portstewart Christmas lights and parade around the town on Saturday 27th November
We would encourage our families to come along for for an afternoon of merriment on Saturday 27th November as Santa and friends arrive to turn on the Portstewart Christmas lights and parade around the town.
There will be no official lights switch on this year, however, there will be a Christmas Cavalcade around the town between 4pm and 5pm starting at Convention Avenue car park. Come along and join in!
