I hope you are enjoying that beautiful weather and staying safe in the sun! Don’t forget to always wear a hat and suncream when outside!
This is an exciting week in school as we are beginning to use Seesaw. Mrs Taylor has made a very informative video that can be found in the parents’ Facebook group to help parents learn how to use Seesaw. Please check Seesaw every Monday and Wednesday as I will be setting a few tasks for you to complete and send back to me. Keep working through your work packs too! You can now send your photographs of your completed work through Seesaw!
Thanks to everyone who joined me in Mathletics Live on Tuesday. You are getting so good at your addition that it is becoming much harder for me to win! Well done to those pupils who have now earned a bronze or silver certificate!
Well done to those who are continuing to read using myON. A special shout-out goes to Amelia who is our myON star reader this week. Mrs Taylor and I are very proud of how many books you read this week! I wonder will it be another girl or a boy earning the next myON star reader title? If you haven’t been using myON recently, please log on this week and read the fantastic stories available for free. A good book to start with might be ‘I’m Exploring With My Senses.’ It might give you a clue for this week’s challenge…
Senses Nature Walk challenge:
To make the most of this good weather, this week’s challenge is outside and it involves using your senses! Can you remember any of your senses? I have attached a simple challenge checklist that you will need to screenshot or print out before you complete your senses nature walk. Please keep safe and stay with a grown-up at all times. Don't forget to upload any of your challenge photographs, paintings or tree rubbings onto your Seesaw journal.
