The Annual General Meeting of the PTA held on 3th October 2018 provided the opportunity for members to receive reports on the events held by the PTA during 2017/2018 and to be updated on the finances generated and currently held in the association’s bank account.
The outgoing chairperson, Mrs J Cregan, referred to the work of the PTA during the last year and made mention of ‘Supper with Santa’, the discos, the NW200 Parking and Tesco bag pack which had all contributed to the funds made available to the school. Mrs Cregan thanked the treasurer, Mrs R Johnston, the joint secretaries, Mrs N Nairn and Mrs K Hamilton, the staff and the other committee members for their efforts on behalf of the school during 2017/2018.
Before the new trustees and other committee members were elected for 2018/2019, the Principal thanked the outgoing committee for their continued work for the children of PPS.
The school takes this opportunity to thank those members who have stepped down from the committee and to say a sincere thank you to Mrs Joanne Cregan for chairing the PTA over the last year.
