Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing day of hockey! We're off to the NI McCloy Cup Final in Belfast at the end of March! Today our girls' hockey team were silver medallists at Ulster Hockey's qualifier in Coleraine. After five hard fought group matches, the girls won their semi final then progressed to the final. After full time the score was 1-1, after extra time the score was still 1-1 and after three penalty runs, the score was still all even. There was nothing between the two teams however we eventually lost 1-0 in sudden death.
Well done to the girls who showcased their skills and displayed great sportsmanship, team spirit and determination. Also, thanks to the many PPS supporters who came along to spectate and encourage everyone to do their best.
