🇮🇹 🍕 Primary 5 Pizza Workshop at Phat Pizza 🍕 🇮🇹
P5A have been learning about Italy this term and of course this has included learning about Italian cuisine. Today the first group of children walked to Phat Pizza where Gareth and Alby taught them all about the process of making proper Italian Neapolitan pizza dough. The children then were able to carefully shape the dough into a pizza before adding the very important tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella and basil, the colours representing the Italian flag! The pizzas were then cooked in the wood fired oven and finally the children did the most rewarding part - eating their pizzas! There were lots of very happy children today who absolutely loved their pizza workshop! Thank you so much to Gareth and Alby at Phat Pizza for making this possible for us 😋
