SPORTS DAY
Weather permitting, “Sports Day” will be held on Thursday 24th May. Our first session, featuring the Nursery and P1 - P3 children, will run from 9.45 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. approximately. Pupils in P4 - P7 will be allowed to watch this session and to offer support to the younger children. At 10.30 a.m. all children will have a short break during which parents will be invited to visit the Dining Hall for refreshments.
Events will re-start at 11.00 a.m. when the P4 - P7 children will compete in their series of races. The pupils in Nursery and P1 - P3 will remain in class during this time and lunch, for all children, will be taken at approximately 12 noon. Priced at £2.50 for Nursery children and £2.60 for P1 - P7 children, a “Sports Day Lunch” will be on offer consisting of a hotdog, chips, ice-cream and a bottle of water.
School will end at 1.00 p.m. when ALL children will be permitted to go home. Please note that should we have to postpone the sports or call a halt to the activities due to bad weather, the children will still be released at 1.00 p.m.
