UK Parliament Week is an annual festival that engages people from across the UK with their UK Parliament, explores what it means to them and empowers them to get involved.

This year's celebration is from 2-8 November and our Primary 7 pupils have taken part in a debate entitled, "Should the voting age be lowered to 16?"

After an interesting discussion, votes were cast and an overwhelming majority decided that the voting age should be lowered to 17!
