To finish off our Spring topic, P1 have been learning about weather and have been reading the book 'Sonny's Wonderful Wellies.' In order for the children to experience the events of the story, we had a 'Welly Wednesday!'
This included thinking of words that rhyme with 'welly' in Literacy, welly boot measuring and weighing in Numeracy, describing our wellies during circle time, a welly boot throw competition and finishing off with splash time outside! We wish it was 'Welly Wednesday' every week!
